International Gender Workshop in Austria: Analyses of gender dynamics in social systems
A gender worker development programme
The workshop is a product of the project and adresses to gender workers & gender professionals and interested individuals of different working fields, who are engaged in the realisation of gender mainstreaming and/or diversity management.
Target Group
Gender Workers & Gender Professionals and all interested individuals of different working fields who are
engaged in the realisation of gender mainstreaming and/or diversity management.
Profile of the participants
Interested persons
• who are interested and engaged in gender work and who have a personal commitment to gender equality
and antidiscrimination related to the diversity of characteristics of human individuals
• who have a basic knowledge and understanding of the terms “gender” and “gender mainstreaming”
Didactical approach – Learning in dialogue
Learning in dialogue here means establishing a learning partnership which makes learning from one another possible. The hierarchical model of instructor / knowledge provider versus learner / recipient is deliberately not applied since the individual contributions of all participating gender workers independently of their background are of equal importance.
